Standard Extrusions E12 offers a broad range of high strength structural shapes used in general engineering applications. Our Standard structural shapes are held to close dimensional tolerances, approaching very closely nominal sizes listed. All our structural shapes are made of grain refined ultra-sonically inspected “B grade” Elektron ZW3 alloy which has near identical mechanical properties to generic ZK60 and has far better corrosion resistance overall. Supplied in the standard Solution heat treated condition (T4).No further artificial aging or heat treatment is required for this alloy to develop its full strength. Heat treatment should be considered only when post welding stress relieving is required. PLEASE NOTE! *Magnesium Weld Wire* E12 produces high quality weld wire for most weldable magnesium alloys. Our standard weld wire is supplied in length of 2000 mm and 1.5 ~6 mm in diameter. Lenticular and flat Weld wire ribbons known for their better “wetting” ability should be made the subject of special enquiry. *MORE >>*	*Billets & Slabs* E12 is a supplier of premium wrought magnesium Elektron alloys available in billet and slab forms, ideally suited for machined components used in non critical low stress applications. Machined components that may be subjected to high stress service levels should be produced from grain refined, extruded and forged blanks.
